I was Dhalsim as my main character. You could not touch me. I know he is slow but I had him absolutely mastered. I also could kill you with Ken/Ryu, E. Honda, Chun Li, Guile, Blanka, Fei Long, Balrog, and Vega. I had this game down pat. I remember all the cheap shit like tap punch when they block to connect to the throw. If you combine that shit with mixing it up with different speed attack patterns, and mastery of counterattack, no one can beat you. It's such a good game. I remember playing against people using only one hand on the controller (The hand with the stick) and using only the L button and still creaming my friends. It was so easy Ha-Do-Ken.
If street fighter was martial arts, I'd be the highest blackbelt. Maybe some of you are really good too, but no one plays this game with me anymore.

Never really got into the Streat Fighter games myself..
I do love some Russian Attack or some Contra though..
I have been playing the shit out of Donkey Kong on my SNES lately...

I always used Chun Li, with those lightning-thunder legs. She was too easy [  ].
And of course, the extra impetus for using such a character was to twist the knife by remarking: Ah ha, ha, ha... you've just gotten whupped... by a lady. Ah, ha...
Oh, and plus Chun Li's legs were like digital pornography to me at that age..

We had to outlaw dhalsim at one point. But there's always one cheapass in the group who picks a fighter, finds something really fucking cheap and do the same thing over and over. Nostalgia...
Wasn't there an 18+ version of SFII? All the kids on the playground talked about it in elementary school. I remember hearing that dhalsim's dick would stretch out and you could fuck chun li. It was hilarious, but no one really knew for sure.

I never really saw Dhalism for the "cheat" character... To me, he was one of the easiest to beat, in fact.
Bison, however... with that repetitive flying back & forth...
Blanca was always pretty fun to use...
If you put the whole team of Street Fighters vs the whole team of Mortal Kombat [1 or 2, same as SF]... who would "statistically" most likely emerge victorious, I wonder...
The more I think about it, Mortal Kombat just plain owns Street Fighter in the character department.

I loved the boxing guys and muay-thai guys. No surprise I went on to train in that later. Balrog and Adun were my favorite. For you old-timers, back in the day I had Adun as my avatar! In tekken 4 i think, I use steve a really badass boxer with just an incredible move list which I loved playing.
Other favorites include blanka and zangief

I could never reliably do the dragon punch with a controller--only with a keyboard. But with a keyboard, i like sagat and ken.
mattzdope sounds like he knows the next level of sfII with small punches and combo-->throws. I never quite got to that level.

Well Skorpivo, you'd like to think Dhalsim's not cheap because he's so slow and his moves are generally pitiful, but there's ways to be cheap. Me and all my friends were pretty assinine, finding ways to be cheap and using that against eachother to piss one another off... boy did we get pissed at eachother lol
Nothing like getting your ass whooped by such a lame character to piss off a good buddy. SFII rocks.

The one character I always had trouble with for some reason was ehonda. My friend would always fuck me up with him it seemed.

His slaps were unbalanced, thats why. Street fighter was not without the cheesy cheap moves, and I can say for a fact that I've been in many fistfights with my brother over that. After one of us would win, all we had to do was smile and look at the defeated and then we got in our own scuffle.
