Wild mushrooms grow almost everywere.
I find that Alaska is one of the most abundant sources of mushrooms i have ever lived in.

Dude, check the FAQ. And search the posts. Shrooms are everywhere.
For example, here in the south, the shrooms like to smile.
You will have to bust way more ass to find shrooms in your northern areas.
But get out there. And just do it.

I have a shroom picking handbook but it doesnt mention manitoba, and I cant find any info about manitoba shrooms, so I just need a species name and Ill go look for em.  Was hoping one of you experts could tell me :smile:

You can possibly find Psilocybe silvatica,
Panaeolus subbalteatus , and
Gymnopilus viridans .

Its very safe to say magic mushrooms do not grow in the pairy provinces in Canada, im in saskatchewan and have never seen any kind of magic mushroom ever.
