    #4293236 - 06/13/05 11:13 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

alright.. i found what appear to be pan subbs growing in my lawn... i took a spore print and i THINK its black, it could be very dark brown its hard to tell. and i dont think there is any noticeable blueing.. but that might be because they are small... any advice?

the stem doesn't look right, and the print looks brown. try taking a better picture with fuller lighting.

It will help if we know the color of the gills?

and...

1. The spore prints should be virtually all dark black.

Anyhow to my knowledge (and i am not dead yet) the spore prints will be pretty much black black black. The cap for the ones i got somewhat resemble cubensis... light browning gold in the middle whiter on the edges. BUT!!! pans are a wide variety,

do your reaserch :-)
