Picture time: a glimpse in Funkey's garden!!
    #4290883 - 06/13/05 11:11 AM (18 years, 9 months ago)

Hello my dear dear fellow shroomery members.
I finally got my hands on a digicam. And despite my very limited computer knowledge, my crappy computer, my non-working CDrom- and diskdrive,... I was able to get these pics onto my computer! A small miracle in my eyes. Some of my plants don't look so healthy or are in need of urgent transplanting etc..., but the last three years I've been renovating my house, so time was very limited, very dusty conditions,... Hopefully things will look healthier and better organized next year.
Ok , so here we go, I'll start with my biggest pride; the peyote's!!
All pics were taken on the same day. New flowers popping up every day, so lots of seeds this year!

2 peyotes and a small Ariocarpus kotshoubeyanus:

a Lophophora williamsii var. Caespitose with a very seldomly seen flower on it:

a Lophophora Jourdaniana:

some more peyotes:

some of last years' seedlings,in need of urgent transplanting:

(these are Trichocereus bridgesii, pachanoi, macrogonus, huascha and spachianus)

And now some more Trichocerei:

some peruvianus seedlings:

couple of bridgesii's:

a penis plant giving a painfull birth to a new pup:

more of the penisplants:

some crested pedro's(sorry it's on it's side):

some more trichocerei and another look on the peyotes:

a grafted Aztekeum riterii:

a young Catha edulis plant:

Psychotria viridis (thank you Stonehenge for the seeds!! As you see, they're doing fine!)

yopo seedlings:

Mimosa hostilis seedlings:

HBWR and 2 bella donna seedlings:

Datura metel seedlings:

a not so healthy, but still cool looking Salvia divinorum:

some papaver somniforum seedlings and a Heimia Salicifolia plant:

and finally -a bit off topic- my more than a meter high waterbong:

Hope you enjoyed it...

Awesome garden bro! You have some very interesting cacti. Can you tell me anything about the alkaloids in t. Hausca? I have a couple small ones but I know next to nothing about em.

No, I'm sorry, but I don't know that either. Just grew them cause bouncing bear sold them once as actives, later it seemed that they mislabeled their cacti...

7 years, but the first 5 years I had only 1 small window-sill that I could use for growing, so the last 2 years the collection grew very fast. I guess in 2 years from now, I'll do my first harvest! (never tried cactus before, let's hope I like it!)

I believe shisha (or sheesha) is the flavored tobacco you smoke in a hookah. That is a hookah at the bottom.

Awesome collection, did you grow the Yopo from seed? If so, any tips?

That's an awesome collection. I have many of the same botanicals and cacti in my collection but not so beautiful as yours. Good work.

Very cool garden, awesome cacti - i hope you like it too

What a beautiful display of cacti! How did you get the grouping like that? Were they started from seed?
