indoor takin out??
    #4275167 - 06/09/05 08:36 AM (18 years, 9 months ago)

i have a hodge podge set up working right now for fruiting and i am just getting pins now. the problem is that it relies on room temps for regulation and i need to put the AC in so my poor rabbit does not over heat. The room temps will drop to about 70 (a Little on the cool side i believe). So can i take my small caseing (about 4*8*3 straw cased on coir) outside mid way throughout its pin set/fruiting cycle or will the 70 degree room temps still be OK to just leave it inside

thanks
peace

well, i don't live there so i dunno. anyone have stammets chart for optimal temps for cubies? Obviously, if you leave it out in the sun it'll bake. couldn't you set the ac to 75deg?

His question makes perfect sense.

I would just set the air to around 75...I'm sure that's fine for a rabbit.

If you have to put them outside, then just make sure they aren't in direct sunlight and that it's humid enough.

70 is fine my room goes from 70 to 78 i have an AC and they are doing great if you get higher temps u wont get alot of pins but on the other hand the pins you get will grow faster so thats why i try to keep it from 70 to 78!!!!!!!!
