They will eventually start to rot if they remain wet. Can't you get a food dehydrator?

Why not continue to fan dry? Even my big flushes only take about 6-7 hours. The only reason i use a desiccant chamber is if i have company and dont want to have the obvious fan-blowing-on-plant-tissue motif for my flat.

humidity is about 55% in my house and i just leave them laying out and they get pretty dry in bout 4 days then i put them in a container with desiccant to get cracker crisp. i put some in the container early one time and they stayed wet and took on a sour smell...so i gave them away..lol... maybe your friends house is too humid

If they were wet he didnt fan dry them enough.

I fan dry for a day, then put in desiccant chamber.

And make sure you don't store them when they're any kind of wet in a plastic bag(especially sealed). Paper is much better!

However, when you transcend all this pre-conditioning by returning to the original wisdom of the animal body, then you discover this immense dimension of opportunity. For some people, it is a frightening risk. To me, that's the psychedelic experience."

I wish I would have read that 2 days ago. I had them in a ziplock baggie with silica desiccant packs after air drying for a day. I went to check on them and they were pretty moist so I decided to just keep air drying them. Now they are cracker dry but they have a strong smell. Should I be worried or do I munch away?
