mycobag fruiting alternatives
    #4286962 - 06/12/05 03:34 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

i ordered a mycobag recently, its currently enroute. i was wondering if there was a way (or if it was a good idea) to colonize the bag then remove the cake and fruit it another way, or is it just a better idea to leave it in the bag to fruit. It seems to me that there would be a higher yield fruiting outside of the bag.

Take it out and case it. Spawn in to poo. Do anything more productive than leaving it in the bag please.

ahh, but first, are you experienced...
to answer your question, yes there are lots of ways to get most out of a mycobag, but some of aren't for beginners.

don't take this wrong, i don't know you, and i have no idea how mush you know, but i've seen too many nubes get in too deep for their ability, by listing to the wrong advise. they ended up wasting their money and getting frustrated.

if you are a first timer, i'd advise do lots of research. people 'round here don't have a lot of patients for questions that are in the FAQ.
bookmark this link  a good place to start.
go to casings, and find 60/40 tek. it's easy to follow and hard to screw up if you can follow instructions.

take a Good look at all you can stand to read.
also read  this please.

as long as that is not a sarcastic "thanks alot" i would be glad to help you, as would many others in this forum, i'm sure.

i thimk casing would be the best way to go for you.

let me say this not only for your benefit, but also for any others reading this.

I would just grow in the bag if it is your first time. Your odds of success are MUCH greater, and a first time casing may not yield as much as a cake in a bag.

Search for mycobag under my username "Cervantes"

You'll find a LOT of helpful posts.
