Keeping jars at 80 degrees...

Well i PLAN on getting the 2 container system that a submersable heater is plased in to control the temp, but just say i wanted to keep my old grandpappies jars at 80 degrees some other way with maybe household shit.... how might he go about keeping them at that constant temp? he tried wrapping them ina blanket in the corner of his closet and before he innoculated them, and he set them there for storage, when he felt them they were rather hot and i tested the temp and it was about 82 so thats why theyre there now but they arent gettign warm any more.... ideas would help all, thanx :D

Be careful using dry heat, I'd recommend you use the 'submerged in warm water controlled by fishtank heater' method. Otherwise, there's a good chance your jars will dry out, which can lead to complete failure or at least reduced yield

PS: I"m talking from experience here :)
