Another one of my friends just cased today some brf/finch/quinoa cakes. He has a question if he used 2 different jars of the same strain put through multispore innoculation will the myceliums get along? Will this lower his yield? Should he have put the mycelium layer side by side instead of layered on the top and bottom?

If the same strain they will get along fine. They might as well get all mixed together. Peace.
I'm not sure how the yield will be though.

another thing is he didnt break them up that much I suggested marble size but they seemed more like fifty cent piece size. There are large air pockets also will this be a problem for him? Also he used the glad lock tupperwares should he leave the lids loose(he packed the surface to tight the coco fiber is almost touching the lid) for ventalation?
