How much mold is TOO much for mother nature?
    #4281533 - 06/10/05 10:59 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

Two casings contaminated and have been ignored for a week. A peak in shows tons of mold and terrible smell, just total contamination. Is there a point where they will be too moldy that attempting an outdoor patch with the casings and poo just wont work?

I would suggest you use your common sense and isolate the healthy looking spots of the casing.

Isolating did no good, tried on two occasions, just keeps on spreading.

Would like to start an outdoor patch and mix this with some poo and bury in the rain forest, and see what happens..

This is a site for sore eyes:

and as you look at the last two casings in the other chamber they are showing the first signs of green, so looks like they are on their way out too, but are still pretty clean... should the two really bad ones be trashed, or can all 4 casings be taken, mixed and made in to a patch in the mountain using poo?

Not worth it, even outdoors. What to lose? Why germinate a patch of mold outdoors and create more spores around your area and outdoor grow area  those aint gonna do shit...aint worth shit...shit can them and use good ones for outdoors (or eliminate immediatly to outdoors when first sign is noticed).

If he can isolate some of the sub in the middle, why not? If the mold takes over outdoors it wont fruit, so he wont eat it, and thus it will have no effects on his health...
