Hardwood plywood chips
    #4281398 - 06/10/05 10:26 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

Is the glue used in laminating hardwood plywood toxic or will it leave residuals in mushrooms. I have a source of hardwood wood chips mixed with hardwood plywood chips. Has ayone used plywood chips?

Yes and it works great. There are no heavy metals in plywood glue, so there is nothing that will end up in the fruitbodies. I've watched the mycelim rip right between the sheets eating the glue first, then it goes to work on the wood. I've used both birch and oak plywood.
