Nah, it's surrealist art, the beginnings of which can be seen from around a century ago, with Picasso and Dali, though there may have been even earlier examples of this style.

Oooh yeah...now that I think about is Picasso does look a lot like this, albeit a little more out there than this guy. Little more abstract in the actual drawing, not so much in the layout or ideas.

I'm going to have to learn a little more about this. This is nice.
