bacterium survival Q
    #4279398 - 06/10/05 12:13 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

i do my spore prints on a small piece of hard plastic, then i transfer it carefully over into a plastic bag where i place it in the freezer for around a month till i use it. the last time i did this printing i touched the outside of the plastic piece with my bare hand as i was sticking it in the bag. no doubt that bacteria, either airborne or from my hand got onto the card.

will the bacteria/airborne contams survive a month in the freezer in a nutritionless sealed environment? should i redo my print?
