Yea, the pins that have the black heads are basicly dieing. If they are harvested BEFORE the heads turn black, by weight they are said to be even stronger than the sporocarps (regular size ?shroom). I recomend harvesting the little disformed pins both for the buzz and the belife that this can possible encourage the regular ?shrooms to emerge sooner.

I hate to say this....

But I told ya so! (I bet that your glad now that you didnt throw the trays out eh?) Thats just the way the PF strain does. It allmost allways starts out with a zillion aborts (deformed looking pins) before the "sporocarps" kick in. Your trays are looking awesome, and I belive that the best is yet to come.

it still looks dry as shit man, it?s susposed to be moist. I wonder if the surface was moist maybe the deformed shrooms/fatheads/abhorts would be reduced a little bit.

Yea, if those are truly the main PF strain something is up. The aborts really were typical of the PF strain.... Im curious as to what the temps are....

These latest pics remind me a little of PESA HAWAIAN.

yeah, I think his casing are way to dry, and possibly not enough air circulation, that?s only the first flush and the casing has already seperated from the side of the container, i?m interested in seeing how the next flush turns out.
