I'm can't seem to find any shrroms or LSD in the area. I've been wanting to try a psych for a while now. I was thinking salvia might be a good one to start off with. What do you guys think/suggest?

Salvia is not a very good recreational drug.
From Sage Wisdom's Salvia Divinorum FAQ:

the first time i smoked it it hit me instantly,i felt it shoot through my body like i was being filled with magma,then my vision was consumed by crazy intense visuals...OF A BARN AND PURPLE FLOWERS
what the fuck?!
the second time it was like the world was being skewed or sucked on an angle,everything...and it was a gameshow???
its really intense..but its kinda lame at the same time,cuz what the fuck can i get out of a psychedelic barn?
whereas acid and shrooms produce awesome and grand visions

try salvia once for sure though

Salvia is absolutely nothing like mushrooms or LSD. It's very weird and very intense.

just like everyone else, i wouldn't recomend salvia for your first time tripping, if you never tripped before i almost gaurantee you will not like it at all. IT CAN BE EXTREMLY INTENSE. i know one person who had never tripped before and smoked some salvia and afterwards said he would never touch a hallucinogen again in his live. thats sad because he probly expects shrooms to be that intense/crazy/fucked up/unpleasurable. But hey if you want to try it go aheahd, you'll trip your balls off for about 5-15 minutes, that's for sure. It won't kill you or anything, it'll just make you tripp balls and then 15 minutes later you'll be %99 normal!

The first time I smoked salvia I took a huge bong rip. I would not recomend this. I fell through a hole. It was like I died. But I wasn't supposed to be there. There were these spirits that were angry that I was there. When I came out of it I was sweating bullets. Scared the shit out of me. The first thing I said was, I'm never doing that EVER again!". But of course 30 minutes later I was hitting a bowl. Be real cafeful. Its impossible to know what to expect with salvia

very intense stuff man, if you are going to try it make sure that someone else is there that is not partaking. you never know what will happen on salvia. be cautious.

because they dont know enough about the drug to make it illegal.
The reason why all conventional psychedelics and RCs got illegal so quickly is because they are part of the same chemical family of indole ring structures that bind to similar receptors.
Salvinorin is completely different from any other drug previously researched. It binds to kappa opioid receptors and the structure is completely unique.

Salvia is for experienced psychonauts only. I like to take it best with other psychedelics. Like the time I smoked bowl after bowl on 2-CI, seriously thought I was getting abducted by aliens, then was transported to an alien world with all kinds of information being downloaded into my brain, was just as real as the world is here, I could even feel the presence of the alien entities around me. Strong, Strong shit, can be more powerful than LSD in my opinion.

Yeah, salvia is definitely one of the most powerful psychedelics known right now, not to be taken lightly. Work your way up to a good dose if anything, don't get yourself in too deep, too quick.

i would say respect her.
don't just smoke it to get high,

i wouldnt say dont do it just because he hasnt experienced other psychedelics. my advise is to get some regular salvia leaves and NOT the extract and try that first. and DO be careful, and have a sitter around cause shit can get very crazy in an instant.. just imagine its like going from completely straight, and like the flip of a switch, ur intantly at the peak of the drug

u might want to look into morning glory seeds. definately do an extraction though. i ground a bunch up and left them in cranberry juice in the frindge for 3 days, stirring from time to time. sift the liquid out through a coffee filter(maybe try more than once sifting, i did it once and puked during the trip but was no big deal...didnt even phase me or upset me. but in retrospect i think if i sifted 2 more times i might not have puked) then drink the liquid. there are other ways, just relaying my experience. the trip was awesome! very lsd like. i used 1oz of blue but i would recomend less for ure first time.

I know a few people whos first experience was on slavia.
They didn't have a bad time.
Just make sure your in a comfortable situation
and its best to probably be sitting down.
