I've said the same thing for years  .
That infact is my worst fear, living through a water plane crash..
Edit: Read that wrong, The worst way to die in my oppinion is :
Living through a water plane crash, floating around in icy cold water with blood and severed limbs all around you. If your lucky enough to die from hypothermia then you could manage not to see the bodies start going under and the shark fins circling...Rough shat.

i have 2 scenarios.
1. being slowly disolved in acid starting at the toes and working your way up.
2. having a pavement truck dump a load of boiling tar on you that coats you from the neck down.

A plane crash would be extremely humane in my opinion. You'd die almost instantly with no pain in most cases.
It'd be the worst way to die by being submerged in boiling water, or being burned alive. I also imagine being crucified or impaled would be slightly unpleasant.
Really, any forms of medieval torture. If you had your eyes pulled out with red hot pokers, were put on the rack, had your feet put into metal boots filled with boiling oil and then were drawn and quartered, that would suck a bit.
Ah yes, being drawn and quartered should be added to the list.

That would be the worst for me. I dont think painfull deaths would be too bad you will most likely pass out within a few seconds. The airplane is the worse because it is for sure and it will take a while in a tin can full of horrifing screams.

Plane crash would be nice, you would get to know you are about to die. Getting burned alive would be the most painful. The worst way to die is dieing so quickly and without warning you don't even know you are about to pass. That's my take.

Buried alive. Most of the deaths mentioned seem fairly quick in comparison. The whole idea of wasting away while alone in a claustaphobically small area would just make my day.
Even in some cases of being burnt alive, people would pass out from the fumes. Just remember to inhale, and hold it in

Then wild arabs come and pinch you everywhere for hours and hours.
Then they make some cuts in your skin so blood slowly comes out.
Then the hairy ugly one comes around with a basket filled with hungry rats.
They drop the rats on you, and the rats fest on your flesh.
Then they cut open your belly and pour in some lighter oil.
Then they light it.
And as a finishing touch they cut open your neck and you die slowly while beeing on fire and getting eaten..

I forget its name at the time... it's a big slide that has a sharp end facing upwards. You slide down on your ass/balls and end up getting cut in half. I think it originated in Arabia.

The sandpaper room. Its a 7ft by 7ft room that you go into naked. All the walls of the room are very course sandpaper, and the room is constantly shaking so that eventually over the course of a couple weeks or a month you are sanded down to nothing.

I would say mad cow disease would definitely be up there. That's some fucked up shit. Or torture...and not the physical pain kind...like being made to watch your family die in front of you, right before you get killed too...having your last memory be your loved ones dying in front of your helpless eyes..

this question is weird...since pain is a memory and therefore reflected upon. When you die...poof you're gone the pain wont be remembered and therefor irrelevant.
just like an operation or a traumatic injury that you block out...you don't remember them cutting into you or being hurt(the act of) so that pain is not reflected upon...
stub your pinky toe....now that's pain

Well since the first (and only) thing to go would be your brain...I doubt it would be a very traumatic way to go. Kind of like the slow fall into dementia that is Alzheimer's disease

I've thought about this before since i've been suicidal in the past.
I thought about surrounding myself with the most personal things i have. Then, you get a sharp, jagged sword and force yourself plunge it through your abdomen. If you've done it right, youll be a collapsed, mortally wounded, bloody heap on the floor regretting what you've done. Coupled with the personal possessions, the pain would be far worse than anything physical you could do.

Statistically, men are a great deal more successful at suicide than women, due to their more graphic methods. Women prefer cleaner methods, such as ODing on pills. Men prefer to blast their brains out. Yet ANOTHER thing men do better...but I'm not sure that it's one to be proud of.

I beg to differ.
It is the experience of pain which makes it bad. Once the pain is gone, it's gone.
Take a look at any infant (which obviously do not have a long or working memory). If an infant is in pain, it will cry and generally make sure you KNOW it is in pain. Yet as soon as the pain is gone, the infant stops crying and begins to act as if nothing was ever wrong.

being strapped to a table, then starting at the limbs, being dissected. And before the dissection of the torso, the eyes, tounge, ears, nose must be cut off. Then on to the torso where it is slowly disected.

If you are about to be tortured, and you notice a doctor standing around...be afraid. They don't keep docs around for the ones they want to kill quickly. The doctor is there to make sure you remain alive while they mutilate you

break your legs, arms, bury you up to your neck in sand in a desert looking at the sun, cut off your eyelids so your eyes melt away after a little, then get horses to stampede you after there blinded from the sun, thats the ideal way to torture someone

hmmm.
Not worst but bad one.
Put someone standing by wall, tie his hands, legs and put very sharp plade close to his neck so he cant move. In couple days Subject will be so sleepy that he will cut his neck and bleed to death.
Too much time to think about death, argh!
