I got real lucky today! I was out with other intentions and stumbled upon these.
Any ID help would be greatly appreciated!
They look like cubies to the best I can tell. One has a pointed apical tip on the cap, I don't know what that is.
There were more, but I gave a bunch to a friend that was with me with the instructions not to eat anything until ID'd.

Looks right to me. Make sure that they all bruise blue and that they are all the same species. I would check each one. It can't hurt to make sure.

Careful with washing them, only do it as much as is absolutely necessary. This is because psilocybin is water soluble (hence shroom tea), so any washing you do could be extracting a bit of psilocybin. Its best to pick stuff off where you can, and best of all to be careful when you're picking them to not leave huge clods of shit on the bases of them before putting them into a bag. A little bit of a rinse shouldn't hurt em too much though.

That reminds me one time when I had arrived at a friend's house..he had just gotten back from a hunt and invited me over to trip with him. When I pulled up to his house he was in the backyard with all the shrooms tied up in pantyhose and he was using the water hose to wash them off. Much to my astonishment, I saw nothing but dark purple liquid draining onto the ground We still tripped because of the quantity he found, but there was a definite notice in loss of potency from his cleaning method. The only time water comes into contact with my shrooms is if I'm making tea with them.

They are good to go.As far as bruising.....When I have been hunting in the rain the soaked cubes didn't bruise 'till dryin'. Brake the stems and get used to that smell. During the main seaon u can come accross some that have no veil and don't bruise. But that smell and spore print color don't lie. It's always good for beginers to only get the ones that fit all of the description. When in doubt throw it out.
