Hello all and a muse on a autumn day

Hello all thought I would share a thought that I scribbled down

In the spring they grew side by side
Till days growing longer set youth aside
Though summer of life they worked and they played
Careing only for self and treasures saved
They spoke of forever and thire concept of god
But dared not ponder the make up of sod
They would continue for time without end
So thought of none but closest of friend
But autumn soon came with its awful chill
And many they knew became quite and still
Then the make up of sod struck fear in thire heart
And there is much sorrow as twig and leaf part
