Any P.C. cubensis strain is good. I hear that:
EQ's have good potency, pretty good flushes.
PR's have good potency, good flushes.
B+'s have good potency, some large shrooms.
Really, any P.C. cubensis strain is good. It's really hard to pick a best and, usually, all comes down to personal prefrence. As been said before, you'll ask 20 different people and get 20 different answers.

Ive shroomed about 12 times and each time ive taken around half an eighth.. Which i think is roughly 1.5 grams. Each time i tripped hard and so did my friends.. It lasted for about 10 hours. I read here of people taking 5+ grams?? Why did i trip so hard and am i making a measurment error? How many shrooms have most of you taken to have a hard trip???

There are different species of shrooms, and so likely you had a stronder species, such as Psilocybe cyanescens, though it is doubtful you had these. As for which strain, well that is relative. That is like asking which car is the best to drive, you will get a lot of different OPINIONS.
The most common ones that people say are best are equadors, cambodians, gulf coast.

Don't worry about the amount of the dose, some people can get off on a little some take a lot. Personaly 2 grams does it for me almost all the time no matter what strain.

Your body will build up a tolerance quickly with shrooms. Take a gram today, tomorrow you might need two grams to get as high.
B+ is probably the most popular but they all so the job.

As soon as I get some money I'm gonna get some Thai's. Preferebly Lipa Yai. I've heard that Thai's are really great colonizers and potent too.

I dont know anyone who has tripped on less than four grams dry of Cubensis - 1.5 grams would have to have been Ps.Cyanescens, Liberty caps or something similar. Ps.Cyanescens is VERY potent and 1.5 is enough to start you up! Mind you, 10 hours long tripping on mushies??

I agree with bluemeanie, 1.5 grams of dried cubensis is pretty weak. Iono, here is what I can tell ya: Firstly, an eigth is not 1.5 grams, it is a weight measurement in accordance to an ounce. An ounce weighs 28grams, hence 3.5g would be considered an eigth. Not to disregard your opinion measurement, but that is the actual measurement. Secondly, everyone's opinion of a "trip" is different. Personally I consider the trip to end when you can start to think clearly again, and your vison is beggining to get clearer again. There is always a 3-4 hour comedown period, where you probably can't sleep and that speedy feeling is all thats left of your high. Definately get a scale if you haven't done so already, and as far as your strain question goes.... pick the one that looks the coolest growing! It's as good a bet as any, since all cubensis strains will hover at the same potency.
-I can however tell you what I beleive to be the EASIEST strains of cubensis to grow. B+ and PF seem to be the perfect strains for a new person. PF because it pins easily and WILL get fruit, its hard to mess up. Follow the basic PF tek, or do some research on rye methods. B+ is also very easy, it will grow at colder temps. I have 5 cakes of B+ that are on a 5th flush(inner resevoir), and they are growin in like 65f temp.

i believe he was refering to 1/2 of an 1/8 of an ounce. like 50% an eighth, which would be roughly 1.5, 1.7,
But anyway, how did you manage to trip off of it? I finished off the last of my casing the other nite, a rather meager flush, between two people, bout 2 grams a peice. I didnt notice anyhting but the slightest corner of the eye visuals, but did have a decent buzz that lasted 3 or 4 hours. usually i like to eat 5+ grams 5 being minimum, but hey diff strokes for different folks, if you got off on less than 2 grams i wouldnt reccomend doing more, otherwise could raise your low tolerance. And while everyone is raggin on ya cause ya cant handle the heat, remember a low tolerance is better than gold. No matter what anyone sais, tolerance build up really sucks, especially with psychedelics, which can easily lose there "wonder but still get you high

I havent been to the shroomery in months, If your new to the game then go with the easies strain to grow nevermind the most potent, its a lot of trial and error. I think South american are the strongest survival wise but not the most potent, then again the potency can even vary within the same species.

1.5 grams dried is a very nice trip.. with eq's anyways. I shroom bout once every few weeks and never do more than 2 grams..

From what i understand about the local drug prices, 1/8 is not closely related to the actual conversion from standard to metric. so when you buy "1/8" you're really getting closer to 4.5-5 grams than an actual 1/8 of an ounce as in 3.5 grams. this may be a local trend or a citywide epidemic of mis-calibrated scales...but i just thought i'd mention it

and for all your questions---
I saw very stong visuals for about 10 hours taking half "an eighth" but i also agree with raph that in the world of street pharmacuiticals 1/8 mite not exactly be 1/8.. i took around 3-4 shrooms in total each time if that helps, each about the the length of a pinky(discluding midgets n giants).

and body size matters a lot with drugs. i'm 6'0, 195 lbs mostly muscle, it takes a LOT of drugs to mess me up, i can drink like 20 shots in 3 hours and still walk ok, and i NEVER drink. i've taken 4 500 mg vicodens before and literally not felt a thing, so body composition and size definitely matter.
keep in mind, the average guy is about 5'9-10 and 155 lbs, so that's not very big.
