One of my hookups says his friend has "alaskan thunder caps". This guy's kind of a retard, I was wondering if anyone here's ever heard of such a strain nick name and which it actually is if so...

Usually if a strain is not named after a place, it has no meaning. A notable exception is B+ which i think is highly inbreed/domesticated.
