Mustard on Pizza?
    #4265699 - 06/06/05 09:34 PM (18 years, 9 months ago)

It's a habit I picked up over in Brazil. Anyone try this? I LOVE IT! And thank goodness I can cook a decent pizza with minimal ingredients.

You put it on AFTER you cook the pizza. And only put a small amount on the cheese. Along the crust you can put a thicker stand of mustard. It's nice.

I've never tried that but will give it a shot next time I'm eating pizza. I've never even heard of that.

Brown mustard or yellow?

Yellow mustard is gross.

Honey mustard is good.  I work at a pizza place so Ive tried alot of stuff.  Garlic Butter is good, ranch, marinara is redundant but good, Italian dressing, buffalo sauce.  I always eat pizza with some sauce now, because the pizza gets old after working with it for 6 years.

Once I made a x-large thin crust mushroom pizza, where the pizza was shaped like a giant mushroom.  My co-workers thought i was some kind of "drug user"

I love making buffalo chicken pizza.

Also, Alfredo sauce is really good on pizza, especially with feta cheese.

and spinach!  spinach alfredo is good (as long as the alfredo is fresh)

BBQ pizza has BBQ instead of pizza sauce.  I dont care for it, but its popular, and ill eat it if there is an extra...

Once made a breakfast pizza which was good.  Use scrambled eggs instead of pizza sauce, on a thin crust, cheddar cheese with bacon onion and green pepper on top.

Mustard is one of my favorite condiments, and i usually have two or three kinds in the fridge.  But I can never get a good chinese mustard.  The hot mustard at the chinese restaurant is good, but the shit i get from the store always sucks!
Horseradish is a underrated condiment   I like it on breakfast hash browns.

I love dipping it in hot or mild sauce.. Blue cheese is awesome also. These are all common though but very good.

If I get BBQ chicken wings I dip my crust in the BBQ. BBQ from the store doesnt taste good at all but the BBQ sauce from any pizza shop with the chicken grease mixed into it in the wing box is awesome. Give it a shot you'll like it.

Mustard doesnt sound too appealing to me but only because Im not that fond of it anyway.

Italian dressing doesnt sound too bad though.

I agree. I'm a college student and I deliver pizza. I live in a relatively low paying part of the country (most non-degreed entry level jobs here *might* pay $6-$7/hr), but I can routinely bring home between $10-$15/hr. Not the best, granted, but it's more than enough to suffice until I finish school. That being said, blue cheese is the best on pizza. Also, putting ranch on one in place of the normal sauce is nice as well.
