Is this normal? If not what kind of contamination is it?

Golden teachers that were inoculated on 6/1/05. There is a ring of dank gray area all across the top. The substrate is brown rice flour and vermaculite. The top half inch of the jar is dry vermaculite.

I put the jars in the pressure cooker at 15 psi for one hour, i used the oven as a hood to work in front of, i used lots of lysol, washed face and hands before innoculating, used alcohol flame to sterilize needle. Polyfill inserted into a 6mm hole in the lid for a filter.

Hold onto them, if it is cobweb, it will consume the jar within a day or two. Cubie mycelium will take much longer.
