Soy flour
    #4263375 - 06/06/05 12:08 PM (18 years, 9 months ago)

Has anyone tried using soy flour in the pf tek? I went on to this site and it says it has alot more tryptophan and nutes. Has anyone tried it and if so how good does it work?

I personally don't lkike Soy.
I have 3 jars with Quinoa and BRF mix, working out fine so far.

I don't think it't the best by itself, but I like it as part of a blend of grains. Bob's 10 Grain Flour is da bomb (and it contains soy flour).

Soy also has 4 times the fat as rye...to much fat I'd guess, probably more oily or something?

I havnt heard any good successes with it. Whats wrong with Rye and WBS?

If the point is for fun, for the sake of experimenting, why ask if it will work? Everyone preps stuff different so a grain may not work for one as well as others, and if its all about experimenting, why ask if itll work...dont you want to find out for yourself?

I know you arent asking what works and are experimenting, but my question was meant to be directed more at the thread starter. If they want to experiment, then do so and see if it works for you....unless they just want to know what works best, then you just do what everyone else does.

Some times I like to experiment but I would rather stick with what has been proven to work. Also what is Bob's 10 Grain Flour?

i never used soy but i did a search on it here once and no one had any good results to report that i could find. recently i made brf/rye flour and millet flour cakes. they worked out fine but i notice the standard brf with the same strain resulted in more potent/visual shrooms for some reason.
