mother mimosa
    #4264011 - 06/06/05 04:24 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

so i went by the greenhoue where i got my mimosa cutting and found out the mothers origin.
basically she wa an accident, sprouted up from coco choir
imported from wherever.
they have had her a few years and she is a right pretty tree.
but they dont know what they have.
several times iv'e asked for a background. and several times they tried to say this or that silk tree, sensitive plant etc.
but as you can see if you know your jurema, she is a mimosa scabrella. And i feel sad to see her stumps, her pounds of wasted bark in some compost somewhere.

someone came with a picture of this plant before and i didn't manage to answer properly the id, now i'm gonna do it for sure - from memory, it's an albizia species.

i fear that it may be time for us to begin obtaining seed stock against the gathering clouds of anti-entheogen fervor (france & other euro folk with new laws against aya-plants; the ussa supreme court decision per medi-pot (& past decision against NAC member, & upcoming decision per UDV brew legality); etc...)

plants in the garden, plants in the wild, plants growing in front of city hall --- broadcast seedstock now, brothers & sisters! reclaim the earth from the forces of ignorance & darkness! dance naked in the woods and howl at the moon! reclaim our primate heritage from moloch! you are starstuff - live your lives accordingly!
