so how about those yankees?
ya going to my first yankee game this month. i dont know much about baseball... infact i think i hate it from what i know about it. might fall asleep in the middle of the game. or save myself the pain and sleep before it starts.
what is the excitement people see in baseball? if i didn't get these tickets for free... i would be alright knowing i'd never see a game.

im taking my best friend who loves the yankees.
i figured maybe she'll make it fun for me. who knows, but on TV it makes me go to sleep.
plus why would i give my ticket away to someone? im expecting a possible revelation to the fact that baseball might be interesting in person.

I had season tickets to all 81 home red sox games for 3 years, up until this year. I used to see people sleeping in the stands, and dump beer on them.

Sometimes baseball is the only thing that keeps me from going on a homicidal killing spree.
Nah, I'm joking, but it is a great sport. I've played it all my life which is probably why I love it so much. I can see how people might think it is boring, but when you know all the rules and possible situations inside and out and can think like a manager when you are watching it, then it is quite interesting.
I went to my first Yankee game last year. I went to 3 of them when I was in New York for a week. Unfortunately they got smoked by the Angels all three games but it was still a lot of fun.

seriously, I've done it probably 10 times or so. Mostly at yankee games. I've been thrown out of more yankee/sox games than I can count.

Do yourself a favor and give the tickets away. The yankees are a disgusting abuse of money. And the fans are a bunch of smelly, loud-mouthed New Yorkers.
