Dilema....input appreciated

AFOAF has a fruiting chamber that will hold 1 11x9 (4" deep) container, and two smaller ones (about 4x4 and 3" deep)...OR it can hold 5 of the smaller ones.

There are two strains to be fruited so would it be better to put one strain in the large container and the others in a couple small ones, or just put everything in 5 small containers?

she is using poo and then a 1/1" or so of 50/50 on top when that gets colonized

I would so 1 large and 2 small. I like a larger amount of substrate to fruit off of, larger fruits IMO.

I like more smaller casings...smaller fruits, but more of them for a bigger yeild, IMO.

I'm all about quantity and quality.Since your growing on poo you've got the quality. As for the quantity, i like lots of substrate and bigger bins. I guess I'm a sucker for a "fat-ass Bitch".

Out of the need to experiment and compare I would do both, but if you forced me to choose, I too am in the Big Ass Fatty Club.

She is going to use one large bin (11x9 4"deep) for one species, and then the other will be split between 2 small gladwares and 2 solo cups. That all squeezes nicely into the fruiting chamber.
