ZooDoo and Vermiculite

I have heard of excellent results doing the following: colonizing several cakes PF Tek style, then crumbling them and mixing them with a mixture of ZooDoo and vermiculite. My questions are the following:
1. What are the ratios of mixing?
2. What else could (or should) be added to the Verm and ZooDoo?
3. How is the Verm/Zoo mix sterilized? This I would most like to know.

All answers are thankfully received.

1) 50/50
2) Equal parts manure, straw and verm. (optional)
3) Get it moist and bake it at 200 degrees for an hour.
