i'm not quite sure what to think of it... the only good album from them is "3 dollar bill, yall" and after that everything went steadily downhill... one thing is sure, though... the new album has some good lyrics... stuff i didn't think fred durst was able to even think about... check this out...
The Priest
It could be the absinth talking (I dont think so) I dont either I've gotta find a new place A new place to feed Gotta be
Stop everything, something is not feeling right The planets are not all aligned I know when I felt this before My evil is thirsty for more I need a new allie to feed What can I do? I've got an idea I think I'll just become a priest Deceiving them with my belief I'll preach about what life is worth And cover my sins with the church My demons can run around free No one will suspect a thing I'll show them its okay to lust A priest in a church you can trust I found a new allie to feed
Baptized by the unexpected Terrorized by the imperfections
Oh my god Im watching TV I cant Oh whats this world coming to I see a priest molesting children I see terrorists blowing up buildins I see someone in rage Killing Dimebag on stage What the fuck is this? What the fuck is this? I got a kid Should I send him to Sunday School? I got a kid Should I send him to Sunday School? So you can fuck him Oh no you aint gonna fuck him How bout this? I dont fucking know who I can trust In this world and I'm gonna blow One more time I'm not that scared
Something is not feeling right The planets are not all aligned I know when I felt this before My evil is thirsty for more I need a new allie to feed
Baptized by the unexpected Terrorized by the imperfections Baptized by the unexpected Terrorized by the imperfection

Yeah someone linked me to limpbizkit.com where Fred was keeping a blog of sorts saying they were drinking absinthe all over Prague while recording.
He's a douchebag. I'm not even gonna go outta my way to hear this new stuff...he reminds me of .

just standard, blunt and non-poetic crap lyrics
like everything else he's ever written...i can't stand that guy lol
and you're a tool fan? hehe, just kidding...to each their own! :-)
i love the absinth reference at the beginning like, "Look at me! I'm referencing an obscure drug (to many people) and saying I'm using it because using drugs makes me cool and I want to drop the name of a drug in my song non-chalantly to make myself look cool."
stfu fred durst lol...
remember he also wrote shit like this
Alright partner...keep on rollin' baby You know what time it is (Throw yo hands up)
(Ladies and gentlemen) Chocolate Starfish Keep on rollin' baby
Move in now move out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Breath in now breath out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' (x4)
Now I know ya'll be lovin this shit right here L.I.M.P Bizkit is right here People in the house with them hands in the air Cause if you don't care then we don't care One two three time zoom to the 6 Jonesin for you picks of the Limp Bizkit mix So where the fuck you at punk? Shut the fuck up And back the fuck up Before we fuck this track up (Throw yo hands up)
Move in now move out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Breath in now breath out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' (x4)
YOU wanna mess with the Bizkit? - Yeah You can't mess with the Bizkit - Why? Cause we get it on - When? Everyday and everynight - Oh See this platnuim thing right here - Uh-Hu Well we're doin it all the time - Wha? So you better get some better beats And uh, get some better rhymes - Doh!
We got the game set So don't complain yet 24/7 never beggin for a raincheck Old school soldiers Blastin out the hot shit That rock shit Let 'em bounce in the mosh pit (Throw yo hands up)
Move in now move out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Breath in now breath out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' (x4)
Hey ladies Hey fellas And the people that don't give a fuck All the lovers all the haters And all the people that call themselves playas Hot mammas, pimp daddies And the people rollin' in the Caddies Hey rockers, hip-hoppers And everybody all around the world
Move in now move out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Breath in now breath out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' (x4)
Move in now move out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Breath in now breath out Hands up now hands down Back up back up Tell me what you're gonna do now
Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' (x4)

Decent lyrics, certainly there are deeper words out there. As far as I'm concerned, the band is a bunch of sellout jerk trailer trash.

god yes im a tool fan! and well you gotta admit their first album was darn good... and i agree fred durst is a loser... i just downloaded their new album cuz i wanted to see if the return of wes borland did the music any good and sadly it doesnt look like it... wes borland is what made the band what it is... i personally don't think there is a guitar player that has as much presence on stage as wes borland... i was actually happy when he left the band, but he sadly wasnt able to make it on his own...

No.
Their first album sucked.
I saw Faith No More on their last tour and some unkown band named "Limp Bizkit" opened up for them. This is back around 1996 or 1997. I thought the name was totally lame, and their songs sucked ass. I thought that their cover of "Faith" sucked and ruined a decent song. I hated them from the getgo ;-)

Oh and I remember reading Durst saying about tool, "They are so great. They are on such another level than us."
I laughed so hard. I was like, "Yeah...and that level is the level where people actually make decent music."
