The Sage in your cupboard is a completly different strain of Salvia. Saliva Divinorium is the only psycoative plant out of the whole Salvia species. Needless to say, you cannot buy Salvia Divinorum at your local Walmart.

i doubt its salvia divinorum. there are different species of salvia, one of them is a common garden flower.

5x means the salvia is five times stronger than fresh leaf of the same weight.

Sage tastes nice, that is all. A little searching on the internet will get you far. As for the 5x and 10x...5x means that the extract is 5 times as potent as the plain salvia leaf used in the extraction...10x being 10 times as potent.

sage is a psychoactive but is mild

http://www.botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/s/sages-05.html#comche

The volatile oil is said to be a violent epileptiform convulsant, resembling the essential oils of absinthe and nutmeg. When smelt for some time it is said to cause a sort of intoxication and giddiness.

just put enough in for about 3-5 big hits and toke it up. have someone to take the bong from you when you're done, as the effects can hit you quite suddenly.

http://www.entheogen.com/News/article/sid=77.html

Salvia divinorum is one species among hundreds within genus Salvia (the sage family)

Salvia officianalis close?) is the cooking sage that ya put in yr turkey stuffing...
there are other sages of possible interest, and related plants include the mints, and lemonbalm, and coleus, and catnip, and motherwort, & a thousand other species...

oh, and if you UTFSE right here @ www.shroomery.org or went to sites like www.erowid.org or www.lycaeum.org or even www.google.com you might find that the info you seek is just a click or two away...
maybe...

Don't understand the nature of this post.
Although, Salvia divinorum and officinalis are from the same family (mint), the plant that it might probably be almost the same with S. divinorum is Salvia melissodora.

"Leaves and seeds are used medicinally by the Tarahumara Indians of Mexico. Thought to contain the same psychotropic compound in diviners sage(S. divinorum)..."-Richters Herb Catalogue 2002
