Just curious which would be better for fruiting, because I have both.

Any one have any experience using the Sylvania SPOT-GRO?

Both are 60w.

the way i understand it any light will work.. but they like the blue spectrum better.. but you dont want a HID light or anything like that.. im using a 2' flor grow bulb from wal-mart about 2' away, and it seems to be working good for me:)

Thanks willma

I realize that any light will work.

I have a SPOT-GRO and a Fluorescent bulb.  Just trying to decide which one has more blue spectrum.

A lot of people use a GROWLUX bulb. I think the SPOT-GRO is similar to the GROWLUX, but I'm not sure.  I can't seem to find out much about the SPOT-GRO.  I was just at HD and it looked good.

Either will work. Fluro would be cooler & better spectrum.
My foaf uses 13 watt compact screw in fluro's - with great results.

the floro grow bulbs are usly higher in the blue spectrum than the red or a "Cool spectrum" or cool light fluorescent bulbs are also high in blue.
