Thanks for all the help guys. I've learned alot about this plant and it properties. I'm also glad that Pod3 mentioned the need to research lucid dreaming and concentration of the mind when inhibited by such a great substance. That is how I see Mushrooms useful as well. As a great tool of mind exploration. Not taking advantage of the state you are in leads to stupid city kids running around tripping in the local 7-11, which in a Sherrifs P.O.V. is all the "drugs'" fault.

My poor poor datura plant, just purchased yesterday is looking sad after being in this air conditioned house for a night. I best keep her outside full-time, hopefully the light rain today doesn't hurt it. The 10 bloomed flowers are beautiful, still 6-7 more to go. Can't wait to harvest the seeds.
Edit: In the past hour, i've seen it get healthier! Funny stuff...now it's raining, i'm sure it likes it.

Pryme, datura and brugmansia are considered noxious weeds in Australia and aren't sold in nurserys.
Maybe America should look at doing the same, it would certainly reduce a number of fatalities.

Just club yourself in the head with a bat.
Better buzz, and less dangerous.

Heh I've heard the names monkshood and wolfbane so many times but never together. I guess ou learn something new every day.
When I used to expiriment wit datura I always kept some amanitas on stand by. Fortunatly I was never in a position where I needed to take it so I can't really comment further.

Ojj!
Be glad! Amanitas would have worsened the symptoms of the Tropanes, including toxicity.
Muscarine is a quaternary ammonium compound, which means its cholinergic effects counter most of the poisoning, but not the delirium. Belladonna plus Inocybe is one of the European Witches' Ayahuascas and it is exceptionally dangerous as it can kill you in three different ways.
...Angels Trumpets as dangerous as alleged? No. They are MORE dangerous and thats why so many people land on the ER.

BorgFace, i think Datura and Brugmansias should indeed be sold at select nursuries because of their AWESOME history and use. It's the persons choice if he or she wants to consume it, or read up on it. All we can do is make people aware of the truth.
