Condensation in Bags/jars
    #4250990 - 06/03/05 02:40 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

How do i cut down the condensation that is accumilating in my spawn bags and jars? It seems that it is starting to work against me slowing down the colonization of the grain. And the mycelium is weak around the wet areas.

Incubating at room temp will cut down on that. 70 degrees. If you are already, then you might have a bacterial problem soon enough.

that will slow down the colonization. I don't have contams.

My bags are a tad bit on the wet side though. THings are moving fine just that the condensation is a lot and its not helping me.

Don't forget, (as many do or don't know), that a warm and over moist substrate is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Wet spot bacteria (Bacillus) will thrive on this type of problem.
