Lower temperatures Higher yields?
    #4250952 - 06/03/05 02:24 AM (11 years, 8 months ago)

I was reading an excerpt Paul Stamets:
"Work done by Lambert (1938) has shown that a pinhead of Agaricus brunnescens with a diameter of 2 millimeters fully develops into a mature mushroom in twenty-two days at 50 ?F., in ten days at 60 ?F. and in six days at 70 ?F. Although mushrooms develop more quickly at 70 ?F., overall yields diminish."

So I tried to find similar numbers for P.C. but without any luck. I have never tried to fruit at 60degrees since I live in a very warm climate. Just wondering if anyone fruits at 60.. 50... and if they saw increased yields?
