Well the rain is gone again and it is friggin hot as hell. Many paanaeolus antillarums. Not even worth a foto.

Today I got up at 4, left my buungalow at six after a morning swim inn the ocean. Water is nice and warm but a relief fromthe sun. Swimming pool is always hot.

Took my motorbyke, had a lychee juice drink with fruit in it and took off down highway 4169 and went tot he bufallo arena. All hot and dried. I found one cube only and then 22 copes.

Some were strong and sturdy and similar tot he ones I collected a year or so ago in Viet-Nam.

So here are 8 images from this morning. After today I won't be able to post any images since my frined is going to China till the 14th of June and won't be at his computer game-room shop so i have no Photoshop access.

Here is a wat I passed by this morn and took an image.

HEre is a fighting Buffalo from the buffalo arena nearby. Not the right colors.

HEre is the lone cube of the day. Later I may check my chopped up Samuiensis/cube field. Mostly P. antillarums there the last four days. And now the cube.

And here are two similar images of the Copes. I seem to be having a few problems with the thin stalked copes. Have a bad bruise on my knee and it is hard to lay down nest to the shit sometimes.

so two similar but different angles of the sturdy copes from this mornng.

And here are two images of some Lepiotas at the Buffalo arena.

and then there were dozens of clumpy clusters of Psathyrellas growing form manunre in sandy soil. The farmers pile the manure arpound the coconut tree bases and shrooms fruit abundantly. They also lay manure for dyring and powder it for resale. and lay it all voer the arena gronds. So there are shrooms evrywhere.

Now i need more rain.

The psathyrella shrooms

thats it for a while gang.
have a shroomy day

Nice photos MJ! Is hunting for mushrooms/mushroom research/mycology what you do for a living? I don't need specifics, just a yes or no will suffice. Traveling the world hunting for mushrooms is my dream and it seems like you do it ALL the time. That's AWESOME! I'm jealous. I'll be patiently waiting for your next set of pictures from wherever you may be. Peace and happy hunting.

Hey MJ, ?, are Chlorophyllum molybdites native to the area, or just other sps. of Lepiotas?

Thanks for the nice eye candy!
