Kur(d)t rolling in his grave
    #4249718 - 06/02/05 09:23 PM (11 years, 6 months ago)

I don't know if any of you have read his journals (this is kurdt cobain I'm talking about), but I'm going through em right now and while they're pretty interesting, here's a rather disturbing anecdote: he repeatedly makes annoyed sarcastic refences to how all the media spell his name Kurt rather than Kurdt...and yet the cover of his published journals is labelled Kurt...I guess the gluttonists he so despised get the last laugh. But anyways, many of his thoughts are extremely intriguing and go a long way towards showing that a wealth of knowledge is not required for advanced analytical thought. Would recomend BORROWING the book from the library.

A wealth of knowledge is definately not needed for anaylytical thought. I know some people who have studied egghead subject after egghead subject and they still lack any kind of commen sense, let alone the ability to use their knowledge!
