what's the pub's opinion on roaches? i personally hate the 'halfway-to-retarded' high that they tend to give. but have most definitely stooped to using them before. actually, am about to now, as my bag has run dry, and i don't want to leave my room...
in the chain of command, i see them as a step up from smoking resin from a glass pipe. but not a big step up.

Yeah I agree with the step-up-from-resin thing...but I'd say it's a big step. I mean, I'll smoke anything that's laying around when I'm in dire straits.  So I have no problem with roaches. Last night I was walking down my street and saw my dealer (he lives like 10 blocks away) lighting a roach, slumped wasted against a building.

I'm joking... but really, I don't mind them at all. To me it's basically like smoking really resonated potent weed.

my sentiments, exactly. i've actually been thinking about taking a weeks pause from smoking, to cut down on this permanent bong-head i've been walking around with for too long. but, then again, i'll at least wait until monday.

usually, i don't kill a whole joint, even when i'm with friends. then i put that fat roach in the ashtray or where ever and they build up. just gotta think ahead man..

Id say the roach is a huge step up from smoken resin. I went and cleared out all the blunt roaches from the ash tray last night and was able to roll a new blunt with them all and just a tad more of fresh herb.
Roach weed burns forever too. Taste can be a little funky.

I tend to agree. Roaches are a big step up from smoking resin. The THC content doesnt go down unless they are laying around for a couple months or somthing. Roaches were lifesavers when I used to smoke bud constantly. Normally I when I would smoke a J I would smoke half of it have a smoke and then light up the rest about a half hour later and it was the best part of the J. The gooey resonated bud is slightly higher in THC content then the beginning of the J. At the end id use a little spit to put it out and throw it in an empty cigarette box with my other roaches and left over small pieces of nuggs for a dry spell. I still have one of my roach packs hidden in my room somewhere I cant find it though. hah.

if you save roaches, they add up. whenever i have one i toss it on my top shelf. after a week i get around 8 or 9 roaches. then i just take them all apart and get a couple huge bowl packs

I do the generation thing.. I know its a little bit on the "omg teenage stoner" side of things, but its kind of cool to make a 5th generation roach joint, and get that feeling of accomplishment.
Also, I like to save roaches divided into groups based on what I was doing when I smoked them, and make themed roach joints. Like rolling 5 aftersex roaches into a big J, or smoking a roach J while retracing what you did while high off that joint, kind of a cool thing to reflect on while smoking.

This is a true story you can look it up. Mcauley Culkin got busted with posession of marijuana charges a while back. They found like a half oz of green (not sure on exact amount at the moment ill check if anyone really wants to know its in back HT article) and as rich as he is he had a baggie of saved roaches. Iv got some respect for him after reading that article.

Yeah roaches aren't all that bad at all, especially if you smoke good weed.
I pick out all the charred bits so it's pure bud, and then I roll a joint dutchie style so it doesn't taste so bad. Hash, and/or just good green usually makes roach joints awesome.
