One print will make a whole lot of syringes. If this is your first time my fish would have to say go with syringes such as they did. One syringe will innoculate about 10-12 half pint jars. The fish innoculated about 6 jars per syringe but they got a few extra syringes to do so.
As far as crumbling the cake, well they said leave it as is till you can grow some shrooms. After that try different methods. There are many different ways to do things it is all about finding one that fits your style......And if you are looking to grow large quantities, using a cake is not going to be the best way for you. Take your time and dont try to rush things. BE good and My fish hope they have answered some questions for you...
