what if for some reason I wasn't me, and i was infact you...
would i still be you, or would I then be me? our would we be us, which prove to be the end of me and you?

you raise good points. but i can not not be me, and you can not not be you (as far as i can figure). so by connection you can not not be me, nor can i not not be you. also, we and us are contradictions in terms because, as previously shown, we're both me and therefore there is no group to be we or us. we and us, like you, are just a means of differentiating whether it's me or you speaking. which is essentially me or me.

You were a point of consciousness wandering through the universe. You somehow felt a "sameness" with this nothingness that was to become smack31. You made your merry way down to earth, you were looking for a place to stay. What is this bundle of cells forming in this pink fuzzy cavern? Yes, i will stay here for a while. The bundle takes on a shape, a face. Eyes. It is alive now. It seems so familiar. This is me. This is where I am supposed to be. And into the light you were born. Looking for a place to stay.

This is something I wrote and posted to this board earlier.
I can do to you anything I want
You can do to me anything you want
You want to know how that can be?
Thus: me and you are simply one.
When you forget you are me, you become afraid of me.
But how can you be afraid of me if you know I am you?
When you forget you are me, you want to change me.
But whom will you want to change if you know I am you?
When you forget you are me,
you want to become like me
you want to run away from me
you want to understand me
you want to control me
If you could you would die of laughter
when you find out you are me
But where is the proof, you ask.
But how can I, you ask,
Join you in this perfect world of oneness?
Read your question again.
Read it again.
Read it again.
Do you hear yourself starting to laugh?

Back on your original statement that started this thread (although I love how it worked out)..."next i suppose we can work on : just who is this "me" person, anyway?"
is the million dollar answer "awareness?"
if you really want to dig into this, you might want to start a new thread...

Starting a new thread is unnecessary. You will not get the answer that is of any value through this board. Awareness is just a word. Understanding what awareness really is takes time and effort (or, alternatively, neither time nor effort). If you are looking for nice words, though, do ask Markosthegnostic, he will surely supply you with references to more words then one can possibly read in a lifetime.
On a different note, I happen to be reading a book, "A mind's I" by Douglas Hoffstadter, which is an extensive research on the subject. You might want to find it, it is a pleasure to read. But I think the only thing books are useful for is encouragement...

I don't need to ask Markosthegnostic, I live it everyday...
Unless of course he feels like going into it, then I'll read.
My dreams...
shattering all around me
Leaving me with nothing...
but what is real
