I have been reading all the straw and poo teks and I was wondering when they say like 75% straw and 25% poo are they saying by volume or weight? Sorry for the dumb question I just cant find the answer

Actually weight and volume are not the same. They are talking about volume I am sure :smile:

yeah because straw weighs less than poo, a pound of poo might be like 1 cup when a pound of straw could be like 5 cups.

if you have H poo, <highly reccomended)
i wouldn't reccomend supplementing it w/ straw.
10-25% vermiculite would be good.

however, if you are attempting to use bagged CRAP or cow manure, you will need to add straw.
