Hopefully , someone can settle a on going argument for us . Could anyone tell us if it is possible after many months of growing in a not so controlled inviroment such as a large rubbermaid container would it be possible to have spores released into the air to the point of having mushrooms growing out of the walls or woodwork or anywhere in a grow room at a later date? silly question...

most people don't let their shrooms get mature enough to generate many spores except when they intend to take prints. still it is unbelievably unlikely that mushroom spores would begin growing spontaneously on anything other than opportune substrates. your walls don't qualify, what you have is either dry-rot, mildew, or mold. kill it with bleach sprayed directly onto it. paint over the affected areas with paint to which mildewcide (sp) has been added at the paint store.

There hasent been any sighn of any type of mold or anything yet, just looking out for the future I guess ..new tenants or something.....
