are you asking if you can spawn manure with cakes? Yes, but what a waste of time. Can you fruit a cake int he same tub you are fruiting a casing, yes.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

try http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23534 ...just substitute cakes for the cloned grain spawn...its not optimal, but in my experience it works fine till you get to that point.
