COLONIZATION
    #4241578 - 05/31/05 07:39 PM (18 years, 9 months ago)

Well it's been 8 days after inoculation in 1 pint jars of WBS w/ BHT. Still no contams but on the other hand still no colonization either. I have kept the jars at a constant 84 degrees. I am going on vacation at the end of the week, will it be OK to let them go til I get back?

Thanks,

Yeah you will ok just let them be. Your suppose to leave them alone anyways when thier colonizing so you should have no troubles.

They'll be fine, but I'm wondering what went wrong... you should have colonization starting by now. Is the WBS too wet? That was a problem I got alot when using WBS, check it out and think about what could have gone wrong, because I would bet that after 8 days with no signs of colonization those jars are toast. I'm rooting for you though!

Thanks, that's what I figured but I guess I just needed to hear it from someone else.

Thanks again
