yep, they're legitimate lawnmower's mushrooms. Don't eat them.

thanks yall for the heads-up. for future reference, how do i best go about "spore-printing"? and what colors are a "go" for legit shrooms? what colors are a "no-go"?

Separate cap from step, place cap gill side down on a piece of paper(use dark colored paper if you suspect light spores), place a cup over it (optional), wait a while (depending on freshness and species) and the spores will deposit on the paper, under the cap.
Check the FAQs or do a search also if you need more details.

By legit. we presume that you mean active. clarify that in the future please, people ask for IDs for both active and edible mushrooms. If you are looking for edibles only then we may very well send you on an unwanted trip, should you just use the word "legitimate".
