I get such a kick outta plants

I love plants. I love all plants. I love trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses, cacti, aquatic plants, even things you might call weeds. Plants rock!
I love watching my yard come to life in the spring and all the hard work, care and love I have put into my plants rewards me with a burst of life and colors. And its neat to watch plants respond to their surroundings. For example, my Mimosa tree 'goes to sleep' each night. During the day it spreads its leaflets out wide to gather the life-giving rays of the sun. But as darkness falls and it no longer needs to gather the sun it folds its leaflets up into a more protected position for the night.
Yep, plants are cool.

I agree, plants are fantastic! That's really cool about the trees leaves folding in at night too, simply amazing.

I sometimes think maybe plants love being ingested by humans. I figure if you're a plant, the best possible way to end your earthly existence would be to become one with the most intelligent species on earth for a short while.

seems more right this way... i've always thought of plants as very intelligent, just in a very different way than we classify it..

Yeah, I definitely love plants. And y'all should read The Botany Of Desire by Jeff Pollen. It goes into the idea of plants using us and our shared evolutions. Great book.

I just spent the evening out in my back planter arranging my vines. I planted them about 2 weeks ago (along the back wall) and left them on their stakes until they got established. Tonight I pulled all the stakes and wound them up into the lattice on my back wall. From there they should continue to grow up and cover my wall with beautiful vines and a variety of colorful and fragrant flowers.
Everyone should have the pleasure of growing plants. I love mine!

Yea plants are cool, I like nature too..just being in nature rocks! I want to go hiking sometime soon, when I have time..I didn't do a lot today except work and hang out with the family..not that exiting. But yea, growing plants are nice, I want to grow some cannabis sometime and some shrooms. Not anytime soon though, dont mind me, I drifted off the topic, I was up since 5 am this morning..and drinking some beer..what a way to have a self medicated relaxing feeling..ahh beer...
