Seems to me like the trustees may be abdicating their fiduciary duties to safeguard the pension funds and maximize gains. Might possibly be malfeasance. If that pension fund is invested in stocks and bonds wouldn't it be in the interest of the investors to see a rise in the value of their stocks and bonds that might accrue from increased investment of money that would otherwise fall down the social security rabbit hole?

Maybe we could ask why all of these uber-genius conservatives can't manage to get a teaching job
Are conservatives just crappy teachers, or are they just not attracted to authoritarian cultural archetecture found in educational society?
I wonder how the numbers break down between teachers and school administrators. Professors are really on the lowest rung in the authoritarian chain.

Why would anyone want a teaching job?

Not sure. The only reason I can think of to become a teacher would be if you wanted to start some kind of cult.

Some people like to help others learn. Some people like to share their knowledge.

Perhaps teaching as a career allows a person to reach a greater audience.
