Would this be a better environment for incubation?

Currently these hypothetical jars are incubating in a cardboard box that isn't totally sealed shut, and that is 78-82 degrees throughout the day. My friend is worried they will dry out as we live in AZ and it's quite arid here.

Would it be better to put them in a cleaned out Rubbermaid container that can be totally shut with the lid snapped on? They inside walls would be sprayed with a h2o/h2o2 mixture to make it humid inside the chamber. Also, the plastic would probably create a more warm environment.

80% RH is recommended for incubation.

Hmm...I don't have a RH indicator and absolutely no money.

I'm sure it's MUCH lower than that. However, isn't 80% where you can just see small beads on the walls of the chamber? If so, the box they are in is dry as a bone lol.

I'll get them into a proper rubbermaid, sprayed-down chamber this evening. I'm heading out now. They showed huge growth that started only 2 days after inoculation and got 30% within 4 days of inoculation, but there has been very little growth in the last 24 hours. I think they've dried out. If they get in a humid environment, they will start growing again, correct?
