Funky smellin' Orissa casing...

I just recently (two days ago) cased some Orissas and as soon as I birthed the cakes they smelled funny... they looked and still do look perfectly fine... but hey smell funny... nothing strange has appeared as of yet but I am curious as to if I should just go ahead and toss them or wait???... thanks in advance.
