Has my San P. mescaline gone bad?

Hi. We currently have 15 feet of mescaline that has been sitting in the fridge, in liquid form, for over a month now. It was all cut/blended/strained right away, but we haven't had a convenient opportunity to boil it down yet. Like I said it has been a little over a month sitting in the fridge, and im worried that the alkaloids will spoil. Is it still a good idea to boil it down and drink it? I would HATE to think that we wasted something so precious just because we couldn't get it together in time. Thanks.

You should probably freeze it, unless your gonna use it real soon. It should still be good though, provided that it hasn't gone moldy.

...or smells fermented or sour.
Do you leave fruit juice or tea for a month in the fridge before drinking it? The same applies for cactus juice.
People leave syrup for months in the fridge. But that's syrup, not simple cactus juice. Syrup is concentrated to a point where most microorganisms cannot live on it.
I wouldn't drink it. I'd reduce that shit under heat, basify it and extract with xylol or toluol. 15 feet of Pedro should yield at least a couple grams of the good stuff.

I'll check it out. If it doesnt smell any worse then plain ol' cactus juice, then we will just reduce the temperature on my neighbor's little fridge and get to work real soon.
