Finding Amanitas?

Sup all? I live up in chester county P.A, the mushroom growing capital of the U.S.A :tongue2: And I wanna know what the time, place, and climates that are best to find amanita muscaria. Ive been lookin on the net and i cant find any specific hints, theres pines around my area were ive seen them b4 but sum how i always miss em. Could anyone tell me the  best time after it rains to go lookin for em? Thnks all!

I normaly find Amanita muscaria from Mid August through to November but I'm in the UK though, don't know about Chester County PA :shrug:

in PA i think they might best fruit from fall to early spring.

In my experience hunting in this area,
they are pretty scarce in the spring and summer. You might find a few here and there if you are lucky. Wait till fall and you will find so many that you won't know what to do with.
