The most effective and cheapest pressure cooker?

Where has everyone found the best pressure cooker? I'm not looking to spend an arm and a leg.

A pressure cooker in good shape with a working seal and rocker (gauge optional) within whatever budget you are on, is the best pressure cooker available. Got the money? Go All American.

I'm sure you could find one there. My first was a Mirro that only held 4 pints for $20 or something, and it has lasted years. Same seal 5 years later, and I still use it for liquid cultures/tools/etc. even today.

That would be an excellent first PC. I started with a Presto 18 quart and it has performed great. $90 new. I'll probably see ya there. Look a little further, I saw some of the same kind a little older than that one for a lot less. If you don't have to have a nice shinny one you can get some really good deals.
